NSFW Chatbot: Conversation starters for fictional AI characters

Try specific, low-pressure opening lines for an imaginary scene, from a harbour cafe to a book left on a garden bench.

Give the reply something to notice

“Hello” is perfectly acceptable, but a small detail offers more room for a distinct response. Describe an object or a place, then ask a manageable question: “There is a blank postcard on our table. What should the first line be?” This makes the opening concrete without requiring personal disclosure.

Avoid stacking five unrelated questions into one message. One clear invitation lets you see the tone of the reply and decide whether you want to continue. You can change direction later; the first sentence does not have to carry an entire story.

Use choices with modest stakes

A choice can move a scene forward without forcing a dramatic outcome. “The ferry leaves in an hour: should we visit the market or name the boats?” leaves space for a third suggestion. The goal is an imaginative exchange, not a contest to produce the most unusual prompt.

Three other openings to try: “Which sound belongs in the first sentence of this seaside story?” “A book has a leaf between two pages; who left it there?” “Two paths reach the lighthouse; what makes each one interesting?” Keep every character explicitly adult.

Match the invitation to the style

An exploratory character may suit routes and discoveries. A thoughtful observer may suit one sentence in a notebook. These are browsing suggestions, not guarantees about a provider’s responses. Read the profile and choose an opening that feels comfortable to you.

If an answer is too elaborate, ask for one short paragraph. If the tone is not right, state a simple preference: “Keep this light and fictional.” You can also leave the exchange. There is no need to disclose more about yourself to make a conversation work.

Leave a door open

A starter works best when it invites participation rather than supplies every outcome. Describe what is present and leave what happens next undecided. A closed script gives the other voice little to contribute; a modest uncertainty gives you both something to explore.

Try one opening from this page, adapt the setting, and stop whenever you want. Before using another service, check its current terms and data practices. The showcase offers ideas, not a hosted conversation or a promise about how another provider will respond.
